Fergus is  inspired by traditional Scottish tartans.

Tartans traditionally correspond to family clans. This idea of representing the family and therefore the home through a motif is the starting point of this rug.

The overlaps of different wefts, as the different members of a family, create a traditional tartan pattern, play with proportions and asymmetrical fringes.

Fergus est un tapis inspiré des tartans traditionnels  écossais. 

Les tartans correspondent traditionnellement aux clans familiaux. Cette idée de représenter la famille et donc le foyer à travers un motif est le point de départ de ce tapis.

Les supperpositions des différentes trames, comme des différents membres d’une famille, viennent créer un motif traditionnel de tartan en exagérant les proportions et jouant avec des franges asymétriques.
